[Tip]

Your member ID should be between 6 and 10 alphanumeric characters. You cannot use an existing member ID.
Passwords should be at least 10 alphanumeric characters and must be a mixture of letters and numbers.

[Note!]

Due to our privacy policy, JanKen*Pon does not use two-step authentication, so your password is the only thing that can protect your security. Therefore, please make sure to set a password that cannot be easily guessed.
It is also strongly recommended that you change your password periodically.

For deposits and withdrawals

JanKen*Pon is an online hand game tournament where you bet on cryptocurrency, you must have an account with an exchange or wallet company that deals in cryptocurrency (XRP - Ripple). For those without an account, this may be the only hurdle to enjoying JanKen*Pon. If you don't have an account, open an account with an exchange or wallet company to handle your cryptocurrency before you play for real.
The process of opening an account varies slightly depending on the rules in your country of residence. In some countries, it may take as little as 30 minutes to open an account, while in others, it may take a little longer to authenticate your identity. If you want to know more details, search for "cryptocurrency account opening" and you will find a lot of information, so try to find a clear explanation and read it.

[Note!]

When choosing an exchange (or wallet company), you need to make sure that you choose one that offers XRP (Ripple). Most of the well-known exchanges offer XRP, but be aware that there are some that do not.

[Tip]

Any exchange (or wallet company) requires an email address in order to open an account. In most cases where personal authentication is required, you will be asked to provide photo identification such as a passport or license. In any case, opening and maintaining an account is usually free of charge, and very rarely is there a fee. Take this opportunity to open an account.

Member Page

Top Page

The top of the frame shows the current amount you have. It will increase or decrease depending on your deposits and withdrawals in the cashier or the results of the tournament.

At the bottom of the frame there is a button "Entrance" to participate in the tournament. When you tap this button, the game screen will open and a dialog will appear asking you to choose whether you want to enter the game venue again.

[Tip]

As cryptocurrencies can fluctuate significantly against legal tender (e.g. the US dollar), the entry fee will be approximately $3 worth of XRP (Ripple) based on the US dollar. The amount will be determined at the time of the entry deadline (approximately 5 minutes before the event). The exchange rate will be automatically updated with the latest rate approximately every 30 minutes.

"Entrance" button

Tap the "enter the hall" button in the frame to open the game screen of the rock-paper-scissors tournament. Tap the "Enter" button about 3 minutes before the start time.

[Tip]

When you open the game screen for the first time, it may take a while for the game to load. If this is the case, please wait until the game screen appears. If possible, we strongly recommend that you open the game screen and load the game long before the start time.

[Note!]

If your entry is complete, but you have less than the entry fee at the time of withdrawal (approximately 5 minutes before the start time), your entry will be automatically cancelled.

Until the tournament starts

When the game screen appears, if the tournament is not ready, a message will be displayed, so please close the game screen. If the tournament is ready, a message will be displayed, so please wait until the tournament starts.

[Tip]

If you want to stop waiting, tap the "Settings" button in the upper right corner of the game screen to display the settings menu, and then tap the "Exit" button in it. If you want to go back, you can use the "Entrance" button again to return to the venue screen (game screen).
You can return to the game screen even if the start time has passed, but please note that if you miss the start of the Thinking Time, you will automatically lose the game.

Game history

Lists the results you have participated in so far. You can examine the results for the past 90 days.

[Tip]

If, for some reason, you were unable to participate in the tournament until the end of the event, you will still be able to check your game history to see who won and how you did.

Cashier / Deposit

Tap "Cashier" in the member menu, and you will see the cashier submenu below. Select "Deposit" in it and you will see the destination information for sending XRP (Ripple) from your cryptocurrency exchange or wallet to JanKen*Pon.

[Tip]

Please transfer XRP (Ripple) according to the destination information displayed here. The remittance method varies depending on the exchange or wallet company you are using, but you can remit via this Address and Distination tag. You can use this QR code to send money easily in the wallet app.

[Note!]

If you make a mistake in the remittance destination information, the money will not be credited to your JanKen*Pon account correctly. In particular, please do not make a mistake with the Distination tag. If you make a mistake in the Destination tag, the money may be credited to another customer.
Of course you shouldn't make a mistake with the Address, but however, this one often results in an error, and it may not be sent to another person.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that you use QR codes if you can.

[Note!]

After the XRP transfer is complete, be sure to tap the "Confirm Deposit" button. You will be able to see that the XRP has been added to your current account. If you still can't see the amount added to your account after waiting for a while and tapping the "Confirm Deposit" button again, please contact our support team.

Cashier / Withdrawal

Tap on "Cashier" in the member menu and you will see the Cashier sub-menu below. Selecting "Withdrawal" from the menu will allow you to transfer (withdraw) XRP (Ripple) from your current JanKen*Pon account to your cryptocurrency exchange or wallet.
Enter the amount you want to withdraw, within the range of the current amount you have, enter the destination Address (Distination tag if necessary), and tap the "Withdraw" button, and the XRP will be sent to your cryptocurrency exchange or wallet company account in a few seconds.

* The withdrawal fee is 0.15 XRP (a few cents), and you will receive the amount you entered minus 0.15 XRP.

[Note!]

Please do not make any mistake in the Address or Distination tag. If you make a mistake and the money is sent without error (if you make a mistake in the Distination tag, there is a big possibility that the money will be sent), it is impossible to undo the mistake and JanKen*Pon will not be able to refund you.

Cashier / D/W history

Tap "Cashier" in the member menu, and you will see the Cashier sub-menu below. Select "D/W History" to view the history of deposits and withdrawals made to your account to date.

[Tip]

Deposit, Withdrawal, Win / Lose, and Fees are available, 'Deposit' and 'Withdrawal' being the history of your deposits and withdrawals at the cashier respectively, 'Win / Lose' being the history of your increases and decreases based on the results of your play, and 'Fees' being the history of the 2% of your winnings you pay as a fee when you play.
The game screen is in dollar terms, so if you want to know the actual XRP movement, you can check your XRP balance through this deposit and withdrawal history.

Settings / Email

Set or change your e-mail address. Enter the email address you want to set and tap the "Change" button.
t is not mandatory to set this e-mail address, but it is recommended to set it as much as possible because it will be used to reset the password if you forget it.

[Note!]

If you have not set up an email address, if you forget your password, there will be no way to reset your password and log in, and you will not be able to use that account. Please note that if you have a balance in your possession, it will be difficult to restore that amount.

Settings / Change Password

You can change your password. Enter the new password you want to change above and below, and tap the "Change" button. The password must be at least 10 alphanumeric characters and must be a mixture of letters and numbers.

[Tip]

Due to JanKen*Pon's privacy policy, your password is the only way to protect your account. We strongly recommend that you change your password on a regular basis.

Settings / Change Icon image

When you make it to the final stage and become a finalist, your icon image will be displayed.
Tap on the "Change Icon" button and load the image file you want to use as your icon.

[Tip]

If you do not set your own icon image, it will be the common smiley face.

How to Play

Start of the tournament

When the "Entrance" button is used to display the hall screen (game screen), the curtain will automatically open at the start of the tournament.
If there are more than 6 participants, the qualifying round will start. On the other hand, if there are 6 or fewer participants, the final stage will start. The number of participants is shown at the top of the screen, with the total number of participants on the right and the number of winners on the left.

[Tip]

If there is only one entrant at the time of the entry deadline, the event will be automatically cancelled.

Qualifying round

If there are 7 or more participants, the qualifying round will begin. In the qualifying round, you will play hand game against the moderator. If you win or draw against the moderator, you remain the winner.
When the moderator declares the start of Thinking Time, the hand buttons for the winner will light up yellow. Choose and tap the "Goo"(Rock), "Choki"(Scissors) or "Par"(Paper) button.

[Note!]

The Thinking time is only about 10 seconds, during which time if you do not choose a hand you lose.
You can change a hand as many times as you like during those 10 seconds, so if you want to think about it, choose some hand first.

When the 10 seconds of Thinking time have elapsed, the moderator will call out and at the same time a hand chosen by the moderator and the number of hand chosen by the participants will be revealed.
As a result, only the person who loses to the moderator will be eliminated and will not be able to participate in any further rock-paper-scissors. If there are 6 or fewer winners, the game goes to the final stage. If there are 7 or more winners, they will play rock-paper-scissors with the moderator again.

[Tip]

If you are eliminated, you may continue to watch the game or you may leave.
After leaving, you can come back by tapping the "Entrance" button. In that case, you can continue watching the tournament.

The Final Stage

If there 6 or fewer players, the final stage will begin. If there are between 4 and 6 participants left, the semi-finals will take place as follows.

i) If there are 6 players left, the game will be divided into 3 groups of 2 players each.
ii) If there are 5 players left, the game is divided into two groups of 2 and 3 players.
iii) If there are 4 players left, they will be divided into 2 groups of 2 players each.

If there are no more than three finalists after the semi-finals, the final round will be held. Of course, if there are no more than three finalists from the start, the final round will be played straight away.

As in the qualifying rounds, when the moderator declares the start of Thinking Time, the hand buttons for each player will light up yellow.

If no player chooses a hand 3 times in a row in the final, the tournament will be declared invalid and the prize money will be carried over to the next tournament.

[Tip]

If you are eliminated, you may continue to watch the game or you may leave.
After leaving, you can come back by tapping the "Entrance" button. In that case, you can continue watching the tournament.

Settlement of prize money

The winner will be decided, the tournament is over. If there are 29 or fewer entrants, the full entry fee minus a 10% administration fee will be awarded to the winner. If there are 30 or more entrants, the administration fee will be 10%, 80% of the prize money will be awarded to the winner and the remaining 10% will be awarded to the other finalists.
If you win a prize, the amount will be automatically added to the amount you have.

[Tip]

It is unlikely that all the finalists will not choose a hand, but it is possible that for some reason, such as a communication problem, no one will be able to connect to the server. In this case, if the finalists have been chosen, the prize money will be awarded to them, but if the winner has not been chosen, the prize money will be carried over to the next tournament.
This doesn't happen very often, but if there is a carryover, it's a good opportunity to enter the next tournament.

When it stopped working

If the screen freezes during the game, most of them are excluded from the game server due to communication disconnection or other reasons. In that case, if you are still winning, please close the game screen immediately and move to a place with a good internet connection.

[Note!]

If for any reason the Thinking Time starts while you are down from the game server, you will lose unconditionally.
If you feel that you have fallen out of the game while you are still winning, please close the game screen ASAP and come back.

About administration fees

JanKen*Pon is a game in which you play against other players. We are not involved in your matches, we are neutral and only charge a administration fee.
The administration fee is 10% of the entry fee and there are no other fees or hidden amounts, so please enjoy the game with peace of mind.

[Tip]

By its very nature, JanKen*Pon cannot be won on purpose or lost on purpose except in the final stage, and the entry fee is fixed at about $3, which no one can increase. Therefore, in addition to a game that is largely immune to fraud, such as cheating and money laundering, we still keep a close eye on it.
In that sense, I hope you will enjoy JanKen*Pon with peace of mind.
